Rajiv, you have  extensive industry experience. Can you expand on this?

Well I have worked at Omniture (acquired by Adobe), Interwoven (acquired by HP), Sun Microsystems (acquired by Oracle) Portal Software (acquired by Oracle), and Mcafee (acquired by Intel).

For the last 30 years, I have successfully managed software products and projects from design to release using proven technologies and methodology.

What is your secret sauce for such a meritorious career?

High energy, positive attitude, flexibility and passion to learn and use new tools help me in getting the job done right, and on time.

SkillNet  has a sizeable footprint in eCommerce space. What vertical do you cater to?

SkillNet Solutions is the leading provider of Retail Store and eCommerce software and its implementations for major Retailers, and Fortune 500 companies in USA, Europe, and Canada.

It’s headquartered in Sunnyvale, California with branch offices in Ohio, Texas, India, UK, and Canada.

What was the circumstance that led you to OfficeTimer?

3 years ago SkillNet struggled with completing customer invoicing on time. As Senior Director, I was entrusted to find a solution for on time customer invoicing problem. After initial study, it was observed that timesheets of employees who work on various customer projects were not filled and submitted on time. As a result, customer invoicing was getting delayed.

We set up 8 point criteria for evaluating various timesheet solutions. Ease of use, configurable to meet unique business needs, ease of adding new customers to projects, simplicity of creating time sheet reports with a few clicks, straightforwardness in applying for time-offs, and enforcing time-off policies. Use of past timesheet data to prepare new project estimates cost and tech support.

After evaluating 10 short listed timesheet solutions OfficeTimer came on top. We are using OfficeTimer from 3+ years, and we are happy that we made the right choice.
