How can I get the dates to appear DD/MM/YYYY instead of the current way YYYY/MM/DD?

Answer:
To change the date format please follow the following steps.

go to Admin Options.
click on Preferences
click on general prefrences
scroll down to the end of the page
Against Standards & Formats select English(Australia) and click on update.

Note : Users can select their Standards & Formats appropriate to the Location they are working.
