I have also a problem, There is project task that is missing in the projects? Is there a way how to check on this?

The problem may be Someone has deleted that task, once deleted you not be seeing that particular task anymore.

If you are sure about the task is not deleted please share your Admin Login credentials, Project name and Task name you are searching for so that we can look into it and give the resolution on it.
